A Wonderful and savory onion jam. Onions cooked with brown sugar, port, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, sea salt and black pepper. Excellent pairing for Alpine style cheeses.
Inspired by the rich, decadent flavors of a classic French Onion Soup, we cook onions overnight with brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, rosemary and toasted caraway seeds for a uniquely “nutty” taste, and then finish the next day with a generous splash of bourbon.
Ingredients: Onions, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, bourbon whiskey, herbs / spices, sea salt, fruit pectin (10oz)
