Channel Craft

About the Company

Founded in 1983 by Dean Helfer, Jr., Channel Craft began as a one-man operation in a traveling wood shop. Dean crafted wooden products at craft shows and folk festivals, establishing the foundation for a true manufacturing operation. Settling in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania, Channel Craft became a hub for handcrafted American toys, games, and puzzles.

To accommodate growth, Channel Craft moved to Charleroi, PA, in 1991, crafting quality toys for museums, specialty shops, catalogs, and department stores. With three buildings and over 70 employees, they continue to handcraft toys in the U.S.A. New products are introduced annually, tailored for specialty stores, museums, parks, and attractions. Channel Craft remains committed to "Quality Crafted Fun," proudly made in the U.S.A.
