Willis Chili Seasoning

I grew up in a family that valued home-cooked meals and homemade clothes. It wasn't until I was 14, working at Nickerson Farms, that I had my first restaurant meal. Initially a dishwasher, I became a cook when a staff member didn't show up. Despite challenges, I learned the art of chili-making from a chef at the restaurant. Over time, I perfected my chili recipe based on my grandmother's advice. Eventually, we opened a dining hall, and our chili gained popularity. Encouraged by successful fundraisers, we started selling our chili seasoning, inspired by my grandmother's Shawnee Corn dishes. Our hope is that you enjoy our chili as much as we do.
