In San Marcos, Tom and Joanne Sullivan refine product designs for Totally Bamboo. Originating from Hollywood Chairs, their quest for a better foldable chair led them to bamboo—a lighter yet stronger material than oak. Bamboo's eco-friendly nature as a renewable grass made it an ideal choice.
Inspired by bamboo's success, the Sullivans invented the FIRST bamboo cutting board, crafted from "engineered bamboo." This innovation, both durable and knife-friendly, marked the birth of Totally Bamboo. The company continued to pioneer with the First Laminated Bamboo Salad Bowl, Bamboo Boards with a Decorative Inlay, and GreenLite™, the First Dishwasher-Safe Bamboo Cutting Boards.
Today, Totally Bamboo offers an array of masterfully crafted cutting boards, bowls, utensils, and storage solutions, all managed from their headquarters in San Marcos, California.
