About the Company
Runamok, a Vermont-based family-owned business, initially focused on premium organic maple syrup. Founded by Eric and Laura Sorkin in 2009, we began tapping our woods in Cambridge, Vermont. After selling our maple crop in bulk for six years, we pivoted in 2016 with Curt Alpeter joining as a Partner, launching our own retail line. Known for elegant packaging, innovative flavor profiles, and top-quality ingredients, our maple products gained acclaim, from Oprah’s Favorite Things to Saveur and Food&Wine. In 2021, we expanded into honey, introducing raw varietal, infused, and hot honeys.
