About the Company
In the early days, Jim Stott and Jonathan King embarked on a multifaceted journey. From launching in Jim's family summer cottage, where tasks spanned cooking, label-writing, photography, and sales, to involving the whole family, their venture was a true collective effort. Nieces, nephews, and even Jim's 90-year-old grandmother, Pearl, contributed by filling jars, gluing burlap onto lids, and assisting as a store clerk.
Jim recalls, "Our Original Recipe was born from my grandmother Pearl's delectable blueberry pie. I aimed to capture the aroma of her freshly baked, ripe blueberry-filled pie. Opening a jar of our Wild Maine Blueberry Jam takes me back to those moments with my grandmother."
