About the Company
Dave Kapell, the creator of Magnetic Poetry, faced writer's block when crafting song lyrics. Seeking inspiration, he wrote down intriguing words on paper but overlooked the havoc his allergies could wreak. An unexpected sneeze scattered his progress. To salvage it, Dave glued the words to magnets on a pizza tin, which eventually found a place on his refrigerator door. Observing friends enjoy rearranging the words, he envisioned selling word kits at a local craft fair. With 100 kits swiftly sold, Magnetic Poetry® has since expanded to over three million word kits, surpassing one billion word tiles, and now offers a diverse range of kits, from the Original to themed and foreign language kits.
