KatySweet's journey began in our founder Kay Carlton's home kitchen, where she crafted Texas-style pecan pralines using a cherished family recipe. Over time, the demand for these delectable treats grew, leading to the establishment of KatySweet in 1995. Starting in a former bank building in La Grange, Kay and her team transformed it into a commercial kitchen, storing ingredients in the old bank vault. The irresistible aroma of fresh pralines drew locals to the square daily. As the word spread, KatySweet expanded, and five years later, a new commercial kitchen was built to maintain the homemade taste and quality. Today, we continue to use the finest ingredients to uphold Kay's original recipes. Whether you savor our Creamy Original Pralines or Chewy Pralines, each bite reflects the care and dedication that have defined KatySweet. Now available in over 4,000 locations across the U.S., our commitment to quality led to the addition of a 24,000 sq. ft. facility in 2016 to meet growing production demands.
