Founded in 1950 by Samuel Ganz and his sons Jack and Sam, Ganz is a family-owned company now led by the founder's grandson, Howard Ganz. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, the company initially began after Samuel introduced a doll from New York during a visit to his sons in Toronto. Ganz Toys quickly became Canada's top toy company, known for high-quality products and safety standards. Howard's entry marked the third generation's involvement. Evolving over the years, the company transitioned to the name Ganz and expanded its offerings to include giftware, tabletop accents, candles, personal care, and garden decor. The introduction of Webkinz pets and the virtual Webkinz World marked a significant milestone in Ganz's ongoing development
