Angelina Quic Ixtamer was born in San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala.

criticism as artistic painting was regarded as exclusive to men. She ignored her detractors and persevered, eventually creating her signature style, ‘vista de pájaro’, or, ‘bird’s eye view.’
