Coming From Tulsa

Coming From Claremore

  • Avoid the construction on Route 66/Highway 412/I-44!

  • From Tulsa, head east on E 46th St N. This road turns into E Pine St.

  • Continue east on E Pine St as it leaves Tulsa. This road is actually an old alignment of Route 66.

  • E Pine St will eventually merge with or run parallel to OK-66 (Route 66)   as you head towards Catoosa and then Claremore. You'll pass through Catoosa and should see signs for the Blue Whale.

  • The Nut House is located on S Highway 66 (Route 66), just north of the Catoosa Blue Whale, on the east side of the road. 

  • Get/stay on Highway 66 (Route 66) South. In Claremore, this is a main road that runs through town. It is also called Lynn Riggs Blvd. 

  • Continue south on Highway 66 (Route 66) for about 6-7 miles. You will pass a final stoplight where there is a Sonic, Bancfirst and a Casey's.

  • Get ready to turn! The Nut House will be on your left (east side of the road) on the second turn after the light.  Look for the pecan groves !

  • If you cross the Verdigris River, you've gone too far! 

  • Coming E on Will Rogers Turnpike 

    Coming W on Will Rogers Turnpike

    If you are coming eastbound (Tulsa) on the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44):


    1. Take Exit 240 for OK-20 W toward Claremore/Pryor. (This is the exit after the Catoosa/Hard Rock Casino exit if you're coming from Tulsa.)

    2. After exiting, turn left (south) onto OK-20 W / S 4180 Rd

    3. Continue on OK-20 W for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach a stop sign or traffic light at Highway 66 (Historic Route 66).

    4. Turn right (south) onto Highway 66 (Route 66).

    5. Drive south on Highway 66 for about 1 mile.

    6. The Nut House will be on your left (east side of the road), shortly after you pass the Blue Whale of Catoosa.

    If you are coming westbound on the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44) from the Joplin/Claremore area:


    1. Take Exit 240 for OK-20 toward Claremore/Pryor. (This is the exit just before the main Tulsa exits).

    2. After exiting, turn left onto OK-20 E. You'll almost immediately go under the turnpike.

    3. Continue on OK-20 E for a very short distance, then turn right onto S 4180 Rd / OK-66 (Historic Route 66).

    4. Drive south on Highway 66 (Route 66) for approximately 1 mile.

    5. The Nut House will be on your left (east side of the road), just past the Blue Whale of Catoosa.
